On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, volunteers from the Center for Social and Cultural Studies (PRISB) experienced the convenience offered by the Trans Campus bus in the environment of Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) and Ar-Raniry State Islamic University (UIN).

By trying out the Trans Campus bus, PRISB USK has demonstrated its commitment to supporting innovation and convenience presented by universities or the government. The presence of Trans Campus has been beneficial for students who need to travel between faculties or even between USK and UIN Ar-Raniry, especially for out-of-town students who do not have transportation.

Lamin Samura, one of the student volunteers from Gambia, West Africa, who is currently studying at the Faculty of Economics and Business at USK, praised the helpfulness of the Trans Campus bus in the campus environment.

“The presence of Trans Campus has significantly improved mobility in the environment of Universitas Syiah Kuala,” he said.

Moreover, Alfi Risky Rahmanda, the coordinator of volunteers from PRISB USK, also tried out the Trans Campus bus on this occasion. He emphasized that Trans Campus is one of the amenities everyone in the USK and UIN Ar-Raniry environment should utilize.

“The convenience presented by Trans Campus is an excellent resource for students and the academic community in the environment of USK and UIN Ar-Raniry,” he said.

On this occasion, he also expressed his hope that the culture of using public transportation in Indonesia, especially in Banda Aceh, could be encouraged. He hoped that the government would continue to improve the public transportation system in Banda Aceh so that the public would be more willing to use public transportation.
