PRISB aims to foster interdisciplinary research and collaboration that addresses real-world issues and contributes to positive social change. The Aceh, History, Media and Change theme focuses on the impact of media and communication on social and political change in Aceh, while the Mobilities, Politics, Communities and In/securities theme examines issues related to migration, displacement, and community formation in the context of global political and economic changes. The Heritage and Wellbeing theme explores the role of cultural heritage in promoting wellbeing and social cohesion, while the Language, Culture and Belonging theme examines the relationship between language, culture, and identity in the context of globalization and social change.
